These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of G Authenticator App: 2FA & MFA (the "App"), provided by Calify Ltd ("Calify," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.
The App is a two-factor authentication (2FA) utility that generates time-based and counter-based one-time passwords (TOTP/HOTP) to help you sign in to third-party services that support two-factor authentication. The App runs on your device and stores your authentication data locally.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, in accordance with the applicable app store terms.
Please read this section carefully.
The App stores your 2FA secrets only on your device. We do not keep a copy and cannot recover them for you.
You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups and for safely retaining the backup or recovery codes provided by the third-party services you protect with 2FA.
If you lose, reset, or replace your device, or if you delete the App, you may permanently lose access to your one-time codes and, as a result, to the third-party accounts secured by them.
Calify is not responsible for any loss of access to your device, the App's data, or any third-party account. We strongly recommend saving each service's recovery codes in a safe place whenever you enable two-factor authentication.
The App may offer optional premium features through in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions.
Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
A subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the rate disclosed at the time of purchase.
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Prices may vary by region and may change with notice, as permitted by the applicable app store.
You agree not to, and not to attempt to, do any of the following:
Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the App or any related systems, or breach any security or authentication measures;
Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or its networks, including by introducing malware or imposing an unreasonable load;
Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation or the rights of others;
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works of the App, except as expressly permitted;
Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App; or
Encourage or enable any third party to do any of the above.
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, and logos, excluding third-party marks and your own data, is owned by Calify or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party names, logos, and trademarks displayed for services you add remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in the App does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.
The App helps you authenticate to third-party services but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for those services. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and policies.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that codes will be generated accurately in every circumstance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calify and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, access, profits, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App, including any loss of access to third-party accounts.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of:
The amount you paid us for the App during the 12 months preceding the claim; or
USD 10.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Calify and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or where necessary to comply with applicable law.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
Provisions that, by their nature, should survive termination, including Sections 3, 6, 8, 9, and 10, will survive termination.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply to you.
Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the app store from which you downloaded it. Where those app store terms require specific provisions, those provisions are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You acknowledge that Apple and Google are not responsible for the App, for providing support, or for handling warranty claims relating to the App, to the extent set out in their respective terms.
The applicable app store provider may be a third-party beneficiary of these Terms where its rules require it.
