Before publishing: confirm the data-collection and SDK tables (Sections 3 and 5) against the actual build, and add the hosted URLs / hyperlinks once the pages are live. Items in italic notes are decisions to confirm.
This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy" or "Policy") is an integral part of our End User License Agreement (Terms of Use) ("EULA") and governs the collection, processing, and transfer of data collected when you use or access the Mobile Hotspot - Portable WiFi mobile application (the "App") and the services offered therein (the "Services").
The App is operated by Calify LTD, a company incorporated under the laws of the State of Israel ("we", "us", or "our"). We are the controller of your personal data.
Any capitalized terms not defined herein have the meaning given to them in the EULA.
This Policy explains what data we collect, how it is used and shared, how we safeguard it, and how you can exercise your rights — including, where applicable, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended ("CCPA/CPRA"), and other U.S. state privacy laws.
If you have any questions about this Policy or our data practices, contact us at: Support@calify-ai.com.
We may amend this Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. The most recent version will always be available within the App and on our website, and the "Last Updated" date will reflect the latest revision. Where changes are material and required by applicable law, we will provide notice and, where required, obtain your consent. Amendments become effective within 30 days of being posted. We recommend reviewing this Policy periodically.
The data controller is:
Company: Calify LTD
Address: Kerit Madda 3, Jerusalem 9777613, Israel
Email: Support@calify-ai.com
Note: If you have a meaningful EU/UK user base, GDPR Art. 27 may require you to appoint an EU/UK representative (e.g. a service such as Prighter). If you appoint one, add their contact details here.
The App turns your device into a WiFi hotspot and helps you manage and share your internet connection. The App's core hotspot functions operate locally on your device. The App does not request or use location permissions, and we do not collect your location. We do not use any advertising identifier, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Through analytics and crash-reporting tools we collect aggregated, non-identifiable information such as device model, operating system and app version, and a coarse (region-level) location that is derived by our analytics provider from your IP address. We cannot identify you from this data alone.
We collect the following limited categories of information, which may, with reasonable effort, be associated with a device:
Data Set
Purpose & Operations
Lawful Basis (GDPR)
Crash and diagnostic data (via Firebase Crashlytics) — stack traces, device model and state, operating system version, and a randomly generated installation identifier (install UUID).
To detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and errors and to keep the App stable and secure.
Our legitimate interest in maintaining and securing the App (or your consent, where required by law).
Usage and analytics data (via Firebase Analytics) — device model, OS and app version, coarse (region-level) location derived from IP, a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, and automatic in-app interaction events. The advertising ID is not collected (it is disabled).
To understand how the App is used and to improve it.
Our legitimate interest in improving the App (or your consent, where required by law).
Contact information — If you contact us (e.g. for support), we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
To respond to your inquiry and provide support.
Our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Permissions used only on your device. To operate the hotspot and its features, the App uses certain Android permissions whose data is processed on your device only and is not collected by us or transmitted to any server: network and WiFi state, changing WiFi/hotspot state and system settings, Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS, used to display per-app data usage), legacy Bluetooth (older Android versions), foreground service, and wake lock.
Speed test. If you use the optional speed-test feature, the App exchanges bandwidth-measurement traffic with Cloudflare's public endpoint (speed.cloudflare.com). This measures connection speed only; no personal data is sent for this purpose.
Notifications. The App shows notifications locally on your device (e.g. hotspot status and auto-off alerts). It does not use push messaging and does not register or store any push token.
We do not knowingly collect or process special categories of personal data (e.g. data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health, biometric, or sexual-orientation data).
Automatically, through the App and the SDKs and permissions described in this Policy, in order to perform our contract with you and provide the Services.
Voluntarily, when you choose to provide information to us, for example when you contact support.
We and certain service providers use software development kits ("SDKs") and similar technologies to provide, secure, and improve the Services. We do not use advertising SDKs, we do not display third-party ads, and we do not use any cross-app tracking or advertising identifier.

All data
In a corporate transaction (e.g. merger, acquisition, or asset sale), data may transfer to the successor entity, which will assume the obligations of this Policy.
Governmental or authorized parties
As legally required
To comply with a valid legal request, law, or regulation, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law (e.g. legal, tax, or accounting obligations), or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
We implement physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, loss, or destruction, consistent with applicable law and industry standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you believe your data has been compromised, contact us at Support@calify-ai.com.
We and our providers (such as Google Cloud and Firebase) may process data in the EU, the U.S., Israel, and other locations. Where data collected in the EEA/UK is transferred outside that region to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. To learn more, contact us at Support@calify-ai.com.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your Personal Data: to access it; to correct it; to delete it (subject to exceptions); to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us at Support@calify-ai.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The Services are not directed to children. We define a "child" as anyone under 16 in the EEA/UK and under 13 in the United States. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us at Support@calify-ai.com.
This section provides additional disclosures for residents of U.S. states with applicable privacy laws (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and Nevada).
Categories of data we collect, purposes, and recipients are described in Sections 3, 5, and 6 above.
Sale / sharing / targeted advertising: We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Because of this, we do not offer an opt-out of sale/sharing — there is nothing to opt out of.
Your rights: Eligible residents may request to know, access, correct, delete, or (where applicable) obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and may not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Some states also provide a right to appeal a denied request.
How to exercise your rights: Contact us at Support@calify-ai.com. We will respond within the period required by the applicable state law (generally 45 days, extendable where permitted).
Note: The competitor policy you referenced includes full per-state tables with appeal procedures and state Attorney General contact links. The summary above is sufficient for most no-ads subscription apps, but say the word and I'll expand this into the full per-state breakdown.
