By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the practices described herein.

When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

App version

To provide translation and related features, the App may process user-submitted content (such as text, audio, and images).
Depending on the feature, processing may occur:
on-device (for example, using local/offline capabilities such as ML Kit), and/or
through third-party service providers (for example, AI/translation services such as OpenAI) that process content on our behalf to deliver the requested functionality.
We process user-submitted content only to provide the requested feature(s), improve reliability, prevent abuse, and maintain service quality, subject to applicable law.
Model training statement:
We do not use your translation inputs (text, audio, or images) to train generalized AI models unless we clearly disclose this in advance and obtain any legally required consent.
We may receive limited information from third parties, such as app stores and service providers (e.g., analytics, diagnostics, and infrastructure partners), and combine it with information collected through the App, where permitted by law.
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases (as applicable):
Performance of a contract (to provide the App and requested features)

Firebase (analytics and diagnostics/crash reporting)
ML Kit (on-device / feature support, where applicable)
OpenAI (AI-powered translation and related processing features, where applicable)
The App does not include third-party advertising, and we do not use your data for interest-based advertising within the App.
The App may request access to certain device permissions depending on the features you use. You can manage these permissions at any time in your device settings.
Examples may include:
Microphone — to capture voice input for voice translation / speech features
Speech Recognition — to transcribe spoken input (where supported)
Camera — to capture images for OCR / image translation features
Photos / Media / Files — to select images or files for translation/OCR and save outputs (if supported)
Notifications — to send important service messages or optional reminders (if enabled)
Local Storage — to store app preferences, cached data, downloaded language models, or offline assets
Disabling certain permissions may limit or prevent some features from functioning.
You can stop further collection of information by uninstalling the App using the standard uninstall process available on your device or through the relevant app store.
You may revoke or restrict App permissions (e.g., microphone, camera, photos, speech recognition, notifications) at any time via your device settings. Certain features may not function properly if permissions are denied.

The App does not require user registration, account creation, or login for general use. Accordingly, we do not collect account credentials for App access.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to:
provide and maintain the App and requested features,

resolve disputes,
enforce our agreements,
detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and
maintain security and service integrity.
We may retain automatically collected technical, analytics, and diagnostic data for a limited period and may keep aggregated or de-identified information for longer for analytics and product improvement.
Text translation inputs: not stored by Calify on our servers; processing may occur transiently to provide the requested feature.
Voice/audio inputs: not stored by Calify on our servers; processed only to provide the requested feature (unless explicitly saved locally by the user, if such feature exists).
Image/OCR inputs: not stored by Calify on our servers; processed only to provide the requested feature (unless explicitly saved locally by the user, if such feature exists).
Translation history / outputs: stored locally on the user’s device only (if the App provides local history functionality).
Offline models and language packs (e.g., ML Kit): may be stored on the user’s device until deleted by the user or removed by the App.
If you request deletion of personal data that we control, contact support@calify-ai.com. Some data may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, backup integrity, or operational reasons.
We may process information in countries other than your own, including where our service providers or infrastructure providers operate.
Where required by law, we take appropriate steps to safeguard international transfers of personal data, such as contractual protections and other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Information about users may be disclosed or transferred as part of any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of company assets, or similar transaction.
In the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, personal data may also be transferred as a business asset, subject to applicable law.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
